EA Sports NHL franchise finally has Bobby Orr in a game. I'm so surprised this announcement never got leaked, but also very happy about it.
As a lifelong Bruins fan, Bobby Orr is someone I have wanted to come to an NHL video game for years, and now it has finally happened.
This year is the centennial season for the Boston Bruins, and what better to celebrate it than by having Bobby Orr in the game? The team over an EA mentioned the servers will be down for a big update and shared those changes yesterday but keep this surprise.
Bobby Orr, to many, is the greatest defenseman ever to play the game of hockey, and now everyone can use him in the game for free.
EA recently started the Gallery of Greats event in HUT for NHL 24 and had the NHL community speculating on who the mystery 88-rated card will be since they already had a Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. To have Bobby Orr now is a huge win for the NHL 24 community and EA Sports.
I was even wondering why the Boston Bruins Centennial jersey hadn't been in the game yet, and now I know why. The 84-rated Orr will be the free card for all players to claim in Hockey Ultimate Team.
