Sony previously announced that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 had sold 2.5 million copies in 24 hours. They're now reporting that as of Oct 31st, 2023, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has sold 5 million copies.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the release of God of War: Ragnarok, which was previously Sony's fastest-selling first-party title on the PS5, with 1.1 million copies sold.
God of War: Ragnarok sold over 11 million copies in its first ten weeks, putting Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on the same trajectory and coming in almost double that with 22 million copies sold in the same period.
