Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is getting a significant update on Match 7th, according to the post on the PlayStation.Blog.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 recently swung past the 10 Million units sold mark and is now getting a new game + and suits.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 version 1.002 will be released to download on March 8 and brings many new features to a game we know many of you have enjoyed.
As with Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales releases, we get new suits added to the game, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is no different. Insomniac Games has added several of Peter's symbiote story suits in the game. You will also be able to select which colour your symbiote suit abilities will be. Insomniac Games has brought Marvel's Hellfire Gala suits to the game for Peter and Miles. Peter sports the design created by Russell Dauterman, and Miles gets his iconic look from Bernard Chang's gorgeous Hellfire Gala variant cover for Miles Morales: Spider-Man issue 8. These suits will be accessible to all Marvel's Spider-Man 2 players when the update goes live on March 7th.
In the latest update, you will see new features in the highly popular photo mode. They have added action figure mode and stickers. After completing the story, they will allow you to change the time of day, making for some fantastic photos. This feature was previously available in Marvel's Spider-Man.
New accessibility updates, including an audio description and screen reader, are also coming.
Insomniac Games partnered with Gameheads to create fresh suits for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Early access to the Fly N' Fresh suits will be available for $4.99. Starting March 7, 2024, and continuing through April 5, 2024, PlayStation will donate $4.99 (100% of the purchase price) of each Fly N' Fresh Suit Pack in the United States to Gameheads, up to $1 million. Gameheads' mission is to empower low-income youth and youth of colour to thrive in the video games industry.
