At the Game Awards, Santa Monica Studio announced that God of War will get free DLC on December 12th, 2024. The DLC will be called Valhalla, which is roguelike-inspired mode.
From the trailer, you use Kratos to beat a gauntlet of enemies to proceed. As mentioned in the trailer if you die, you start over again.
According to the PlayStation.Blog Valhalla will be the epilogue to the events of Ragnarok. Kratos will face trials to overcome enemies from the past.
Look for God of War Valhalla on December 12th, 2024.
