From now until December 6th, Ubisoft is giving away a free copy of Assassin's Creed Syndicate via Ubisoft Connect.
You must download the Ubisoft Connect launcher, select Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and start your free download.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is currently at 74 for the PC version on Metacritic, but I'm afraid I have to disagree with that score. Assassin's Creed Syndicate came out at the height of what I would call the Assassin's Creed lull. Many gamers, including myself, felt slightly burnt out from the yearly releases.
Ubisoft tried something different with Syndicate, and I think it's one of the most underrated Assassin's Creed games.
You used the brother and sister from the Frye family, and it was a mix of health combat with some detective work, which I did enjoy.
Interestingly, it was the last true stealth combat-focused Assassin's Creed before this year's successful release of Assassin's Creed Mirage.
You can read my review of Assassin's Creed Mirage here, but I would suggest you go ahead and give Syndicate a try if you have never played it. I highly recommend it.
