Sony is offering refunds for anyone who, by accident, didn't purchase the $10 upgrade path for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. First reported by @ItzPaulHD_v1 on X, you can request a refund if you weren't aware of the $10 upgrade path.
Sony has been known to have more restrictive refund policies compared to Microsoft and Steam, so seeing this from them is a step in the right direction. Usually, you can only get a refund from the PlayStation Store once, and after that, your attempts to get one on games you haven't even played yet will not be refunded.
You can choose the upgrade path for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. If you bought the game digitally or physically but, you will still need to have the game.
I hope to see more of this from Sony and maybe take another look at their refund policy.
