MLB The Show 24 release is right around the corner, and we wanted to break down all the different versions that are available to buy. It's no secret that over here at Three Dads and a Console, we like our sports games, and we feel MLB The Show year after year sets the bar.
Recently, they announced some new legends to be coming to MLB The Show 24, and there is speculation about which other new editions are running rampant in the community. I will always ask for my favourite Jose Bautista, but I'm not holding my breath.
This year's cover athlete is Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who plays on my favourite team, the Toronto Blue Jays.
San Diego Studio has held a few feature premier episodes leading up to the launch but hasn't shown gameplay or discussed any significant changes coming to the Game yet. Below is a schedule of the remaining rollout. All presentations are shown on San Deigo Studio Twitch and YouTube. If you watch along to these presentations, they have drops to earn packs towards MLB The Show 24 that can be used in Diamond Dynasty.
There will be no tech demo for MLB The Show 24 this year, but there is early access depending on which version of MLB The Show 24 you buy.
There are four versions of MLB The Show 24, which are Negro League Edition, MVP Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and the Standard Edition. Each edition has its perks, but mainly, those perks are for those who play Diamond Dynasty.

MLB The Show 24 will once again release the day and date on Xbox Game Pass, but it will be the Standard Edition. I think I'm leaning toward the Nergo Edition because I would love the hat and the Steelbook. Let us know in the comments which edition you believe you will pick up.
