As announced via a post on X, we will get a business update from Xbox via the official Xbox Podcast on Thursday.
Rumours have been swirling for a couple of weeks now on what Xbox's business plan is because it's rumoured that some of their first-party games will be coming to PlayStation consoles.
The games rumoured are Indiana Jones, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush and Gears of War. This has put some Xbox fans in a tailspin enough for Phil Spencer to even respond on X to set up this business update.
At this time, I don't know what to believe, but I do know I will get answers on Thursday. I play on all consoles, so it doesn't matter to me, but I don't think it's as big of a deal as some are making it. Xbox is in the business of making money and has often stated that it is not in the lead when it comes to console sales and that having all of these studios doesn't mean they automatically become the console sales leader.
The future of Xbox is bright and I'm eagerly excited to hear the podcast on Thursday.
